Back-to-school bash Saturday in Ripley to offer free supplies

The Cut-Off will host a back-to-school bash Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m., offering free school supplies to students, organizers said.

The event will include bouncy houses, face painting, games, vendors and food trucks, The Cut-Off said.

The Cut-Off is at 204 S. Commerce Street in Ripley. Organizers invited families to bring children and enjoy an afternoon downtown.

Organizers said the event is intended to celebrate the start of the school year even if classes have already begun.
