Tupelo police offer free Chief’s Camp June 8-12, 2026
The Tupelo Police Department said it will host a free summer program, Chief’s Camp, for children June 8-12, 2026, and that applications are still being accepted.
The department said the camp will give children opportunities to meet and learn from different Tupelo Police Department units and will include activities such as dodgeball, kickball and team games.
The department said Chief’s Camp is not a police academy or a “troubled youth” program. The department described it as a hands-on effort to build relationships, create memories and give children a better understanding of what police officers do every day.
The department said spots are limited and the camp is free of charge. Officials directed interested parents to submit applications online at https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ynfxij0lxqak3iqm71qj6/2026-Chief-Camp-App.pdf?rlkey=32x540dfef4u5axu5d5u94bb6&st=0qj7khs6&dl=0.
