Blue Mountain Christian University women’s soccer players receive self-defense training

Blue Mountain Christian University said the Lady Toppers soccer team took part in hands-on self-defense training last week.

Coach Hunt invited Professor Mayer to teach practical self-defense techniques, with assistance from his wife, Andrea, the university said.

The university said the session aimed to equip student-athletes with skills that build confidence, awareness and preparedness on and off the field.

Blue Mountain Christian University said it was grateful for the instructors’ time and the opportunity to provide the training to its athletes.
