Career Connections Speaker Urges Students to Pivot in Their Careers
Nicole Bullock told students at a Career Connections event that it is acceptable to change careers when a new path better fits their goals, organizers said.
Bullock, who serves as a clinical instructor and training center coordinator with Diversicare Healthcare Services and works as a realtor with Rachel Ray Realty, discussed her experiences in both fields, organizers said.
She gave students an inside look at different professional paths and encouraged them to explore options, saying, “It’s okay to pivot,” according to organizers.
Organizers thanked Bullock for sharing her story and said the presentation was meant to reassure students that career journeys need not follow a straight line and that there is room to grow and change.
