Cold front moves southeast; satellite shows dry air filtering in

Water vapor satellite imagery shows a cold front moving southeast and dry air filtering into the region, the imagery indicates.

According to the imagery, yellow represents dry air, orange indicates very dry air and green and white show moisture.

The influx of dry air on the satellite images suggests conditions may become cooler and less humid, even where clouds persist, the imagery indicates.
