Marginal severe weather risk for northeastern Arkansas as cold front moves in
Forecasters said Friday that a marginal risk of severe storms is in place for portions of northeastern Arkansas Friday evening into early Saturday as a cold front moves into the region.
They said damaging winds and heavy downpours appear to be the greatest threats associated with the system.
Officials urged residents in the affected area to monitor local forecasts and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions, forecasters said.
Forecasters recommended checking updates from local news outlets and weather services for timing and any changes to the forecast.
