Live music, food and a fireworks display are scheduled for downtown Ripley tonight, organizers said.
Organizers said live music by Trevor Wilson will begin at 7 p.m. at The Cut-Off. Chula’s Food Truck is expected to serve food and The Gathering Porch will offer drinks, organizers said.
The City of Ripley said its fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m. near Ripley High School. Organizers said spectators can watch from an official viewing area along the highway or from downtown at The Cut-Off.
Organizers encouraged attendees to bring lawn chairs. They said the events are meant to provide a community gathering for the evening.
