Shopping, music and fireworks planned in downtown Ripley Friday, group says

Ripley Main Street said downtown Ripley will offer extended shopping hours, free live music and a fireworks show Friday evening, according to a social media post from the organization.

Ripley Main Street said shops will remain open until 7 p.m. and Trevor Wilson will perform free live music at The Cut-Off beginning at 7 p.m.

The post said attendees can grab dinner from Chula’s Food Truck and drinks from The Gathering Porch, and organizers encouraged people to bring lawn chairs for the outdoor events.

Ripley Main Street said a fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m. near Ripley High School. The group said spectators can watch from the official viewing area or from downtown at The Cut-Off, and encouraged residents to join the evening to celebrate summer in Ripley.
