Mississippi Department of Public Safety names July employees of the month

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety said in a social media post that it has named four employees its July employees of the month.

The honorees are Captain Demetrius Hawthorne of Troop C, Jeffery Myers of Asset Management, Toniann Rebick of the Forensics Lab and Risa Turpin of Standards & Training, the post said.

The department thanked the employees “for your dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence,” and added, “We appreciate all that you do,” according to the post.

The announcement appeared on the department’s official social media account, the post said.
