Two inside left lanes of I-55 northbound at State Route 463 in Madison County are temporarily closed for emergency concrete repairs, the Mississippi Department of Transportation said.
Traffic remains passable in the right lane, MDOT said.
MDOT said the closure will remain in effect until repairs are complete and urged drivers to slow down and pay attention.
The agency advised motorists to anticipate delays and congestion approaching the State Route 463 exit and directed drivers to its traffic website for updates, MDOT said.
