The Mississippi Department of Public Safety said its offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.
The agency said offices will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026.
In a statement, the department thanked its law enforcement officers and said many will remain on duty to enforce traffic laws and keep the state’s roads safe, the agency said.
