Mississippi Department of Public Safety offices closed Monday for Confederate Memorial Day

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety said its offices will be closed Monday, April 27, 2026, in observance of Confederate Memorial Day.

The department said the closure includes all Driver Service Bureaus across the state.

Offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, the department said.

The department thanked law enforcement and first responders who will continue working to keep the state’s roadways safe, its statement said.
