Mississippi DOT Seeks Public Comment on Draft Transit Plan and Intercity Bus Study

The Mississippi Department of Transportation is seeking public comment on its draft Statewide Transit Plan and Intercity Bus Study through Sept. 7, the agency said.

MDOT said the plans evaluate the state’s current transportation network, identify opportunities for improvement and outline recommended strategies to enhance transportation services.

The drafts are available for review at GoMDOT.com/ConnectMS, MDOT said. Members of the public may submit comments by emailing transitstudy@mdot.ms.gov.

MDOT said the work is part of the agency’s assessment of Mississippi’s transportation service needs and will inform future planning and investments.
