Mississippi DOT spotlights project engineer for Professional Engineers Day

The Mississippi Department of Transportation highlighted Will Davis, P.E., a project engineer in its District 1 Tupelo Project Office, in a Worker Wednesday social media post honoring Professional Engineers Day, the department said.

MDOT said Davis has worked for 22 years overseeing construction projects from concept to completion. The department said he ensures each project is built to the highest standards and specifications.

MDOT said Davis’s work helps lay the foundation for safer travel across Mississippi. The department praised his precision, technical expertise and analytical leadership, according to the post.

MDOT encouraged the public to applaud Davis and wish him a happy Professional Engineers Day. The post referenced the National Society of Professional Engineers and included hashtags such as #WorkerWednesday and #PEday, MDOT said.
