Mississippi DOT to hold job fair Sept. 9 in Tupelo

The Mississippi Department of Transportation will hold a job fair Wednesday, Sept. 9, at its District 1 headquarters in Tupelo, the agency said. The event will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1909 North Gloster Street.

MDOT said openings include Transportation Infrastructure Maintenance Technician, Specialized Trades Worker and Engineering Technician.

Applicants must be 18 or older, MDOT said. Candidates will have the opportunity for on-site interviews, and must have a driver’s license and a Social Security card at the time of employment, the agency said.
