MDOT to hold job fair July 30 in Newton

The Mississippi Department of Transportation will hold an on-site job fair July 30 at its Newton office at 7759 Highway 80 W, the agency said.

MDOT’s District 5 Human Resources office said representatives will be available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. to answer questions and conduct on-site interviews.

The agency said openings are available across Hinds, Lauderdale, Leake, Newton, Rankin and Scott counties. MDOT said positions include transportation infrastructure maintenance technician, specialized trades worker, facilities maintenance and engineering technician roles.
