Mississippi DOT to hold job fair Sept. 9 in Tupelo

The Mississippi Department of Transportation will hold a job fair Sept. 9 at its District 1 headquarters in Tupelo to fill openings across Northeast Mississippi, MDOT said.

The event will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1909 North Gloster Street, the agency said.

MDOT said available positions include transportation infrastructure maintenance technician, specialized trades worker and engineering technician. Candidates must be 18 or older, the agency said.

MDOT said applicants will have the opportunity for on-site interviews. The agency said candidates must have a driver’s license and a Social Security card at the time of employment. For questions, MDOT provided the phone number 662-842-1122.
