Mississippi residents impacted by power outages can apply for replacement SNAP benefits
Residents of Adams, Franklin, Jefferson Davis, Lamar, Lawrence, and Lincoln counties in Mississippi may be eligible for replacement SNAP benefits after food was lost due to power outages caused by recent severe weather, according to state officials.
To qualify, residents must report the loss within 10 days of the weather event, complete the Replacement SNAP Benefit Form, and provide proof of a power outage lasting longer than four hours, officials said.
