Mississippi agency warns missed updates could affect SNAP benefits

The Mississippi Department of Human Services said a missed update could affect recipients’ Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits.

MDHS urged recipients to update their information when changes occur and to report any changes as soon as possible, the agency said.

The agency said keeping accounts current can help prevent interruptions in benefit payments.
