Nearly 250 earn high school equivalency diplomas through NEMCC adult education

NEMCC Adult Education said nearly 250 people earned high school equivalency diplomas this year.

The program said its students come from all walks of life, including 17-year-olds who struggled in traditional schools and adults — parents, grandparents and working people — who returned to the classroom after years away.

NEMCC Adult Education said it is grateful to be part of those journeys and to mark each success along the way.
