Six earn high school equivalency diplomas at NEMCC, program says

Northeast Mississippi Community College’s Adult Education program said six night students earned high school equivalency diplomas: Meredith Goddard, Nitara Bean, Mareena Resta, Josh Bean, Takoda Garcia and Ambivalent Matthews.

The program said in a social media post that it was proud of the graduates’ achievement and encouraged them to continue their education. The post said, “We are so proud of your most recent achievement! This is only the beginning. Keep moving forward!”

The post included hashtags promoting adult education, including #NEMCCAE, #MississippiAdultEducation and #SkillUpMississippi, the program said.
