The National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee, said in a post that a slight risk for severe thunderstorms exists across most of the Mid-South today.
The agency said the primary threat from the storms will be damaging winds.
The National Weather Service also said a flood watch remains in effect for northern portions of its area, where soils are saturated.
