Ripley to resume ice storm debris collection, city says

Crews will resume collection of ice storm debris in the morning, the city of Ripley said.

The city asked residents to place debris at the curb or in the right of way only, the city said. It warned residents not to place debris on fire hydrants or on top of water meters.

The city also said household trash and other non-vegetative debris will not be collected.

The city said cooperation with the guidelines will ensure a safe and efficient cleanup for the community.
