National Weather Service in Memphis warns of possible 110-degree heat index Monday
The National Weather Service in Memphis warned that a heatwave next week could push heat indices above 110 degrees Fahrenheit on Monday.
The agency posted a heat-risk outlook for Monday and advised residents to begin preparations for extreme heat.
The office said heat indices “in excess of 110 degrees Fahrenheit are not out of the question.”
