A social media post asked residents to report downed trees in their yards after storms that moved through “shaded red areas” the previous afternoon and overnight, the post said.
The post asked for any information from people who experienced tree damage during the storms, according to the message.
It included the hashtag #mswx and thanked respondents in advance, the post added.
