The Tupelo Police Department expressed gratitude Thursday to Jose and the staff at Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant for delivering lunch to officers and staff. The department appreciated the support from local businesses and community members, according to a news release.
Officials said the gesture was a reminder of community solidarity and support for law enforcement. The department also noted that the lunch was delicious and appreciated by all.
