11th-grade student killed after Humphreys County football jamboree, investigator says

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Miss. — An 11th-grade student was killed after a shooting Friday night following a jamboree football game, investigator Hunter Edward said.

Hunter Edward identified the victim as Jkamryn Price and said Price died from his injuries after someone opened fire in the 100 block of Third Street.

The shooting occurred down the street from the football stadium, Edward said.

Authorities are investigating the incident, Edward said.
