Pearl man killed after being struck by tractor-trailer on I-20 East in Hinds County

A man from Pearl was killed after being struck by a tractor-trailer on Interstate 20 East near the 26-mile marker in Hinds County around 1:40 a.m. on Sept. 23, 2026, the Mississippi Highway Patrol said.

Troopers told WJTV the vehicle involved was a 2024 Volvo tractor-trailer traveling eastbound on the interstate at the time of the crash.
