Investigator Andretta English, 30, of the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office died after a motorcycle crash on Highway 589 in Lamar County on June 27, the sheriff’s office announced.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol said the crash occurred around 2 p.m. Troopers said a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling south on the highway, the agency said.
Troopers did not immediately release additional details about the crash or what role, if any, the Silverado played, the Mississippi Highway Patrol said.
The Forrest County Sheriff’s Office identified English and announced her death. The office did not provide further information in its announcement.
