False Pretense Arrest Made in Tupelo, According to Tupelo Police Department

On July 7, 2024, the Tupelo Police Department executed a Lee County Circuit Court Capias Warrant on Corvion Hairston, 21, of Columbus, for charges related to False Pretense. According to Tupelo Police Department sources, the warrant stemmed from allegations dating back to February 2022, where Hairston was accused of defrauding Bank Plus.

Hairston was subsequently remanded into custody and is being held on a $10,000 bond pending trial in Lee County Circuit Court. The case remains active as authorities await further legal proceedings.

The Tupelo Police Department has been actively investigating the case since the initial report, collaborating with relevant authorities to ensure due process is followed.
