Forecasters warn of possible severe storms, flooding Monday

Showers and thunderstorms, some potentially strong to severe with possible flooding, are likely Monday afternoon and evening, forecasters said.

Storms are expected to subside after midnight Monday night, with lows around 66 degrees, forecasters said.

Patchy fog may develop late Sunday night under partly cloudy skies, bringing lows near 68 degrees and light winds. The fog could linger into early Monday before skies turn mostly sunny with highs near 81 degrees, forecasters said.

Drier weather is expected to return Tuesday with sunny skies and highs near 80 degrees, forecasters said.
