Four people were taken into custody after a shooting Sunday afternoon in the Bethel Church community in Marion County, Miss., the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting near Sims Lane at about 1:20 p.m. Aug. 30, 2026, the sheriff’s office said.
The suspects fled the scene and were located during a subsequent search, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said.
