Itawamba Community College’s choir will perform at the White House Christmas tours in Washington, D.C., on Dec. 14, 2026, with about 68 student performers traveling to the nation’s capital.
SuperTalk Mississippi reported that ICC President Dr. Jay Allen announced the choir was selected from more than 1,000 entries to perform during the White House Christmas tours.
The choir will perform under the direction of Kyle Davis, with Anna Morgan serving as pianist, and approximately 68 ICC student performers will make the trip to Washington, D.C., the report said.
SuperTalk Mississippi noted that last year Southwest Mississippi Community College’s stage band performed at the White House during the season.
“This is an extraordinary honor for our students and our college,” Allen said, according to the report.
To help cover the costs of the trip, the college is inviting community members, alumni and other supporters to contribute to the choir’s travel expenses, SuperTalk Mississippi said.
