The Hill reported Sept. 30, 2026, that the White House began mailing $500 refund checks to Americans the administration says were overcharged for ObamaCare insurance.
The Hill said Treasury Department checks are going to more than 950,000 people across 30 states that use the federal marketplace healthcare.gov.
The report described the total as just about 1 million Americans to be refunded.
