Man from Jackson arrested in two Hattiesburg armed robberies

Hattiesburg police said a man from Jackson was arrested in connection with two armed robberies, WHLT reported.

Police said the first robbery occurred just before 12:15 p.m. on June 20 in the 6000 block of Highway 98.

They said officers were at the scene of the first incident when a second armed robbery was reported just before 12:30 p.m.

WHLT reported that police did not immediately release the suspect’s name or additional details about the incidents.
