Man arrested in May Perkins Street homicide, Jackson police say

Jackson police said they arrested a man in connection with a May 21 homicide in the 1300 block of Perkins Street.

Police identified the victim as Shondell Latrell White, 46. His body was found inside a home, police said.

Police have not released a cause of death. They also did not immediately release the name, age or charges of the person taken into custody.

The Jackson Police Department said the investigation is ongoing and asked anyone with information to contact the department.
