Man fatally shot outside Jackson home, police say

A man was killed outside his home on Langley Street at Robinson Road on Sept. 6, 2026, Jackson police said.

Jackson Police Chief Dr. RaShall Brackney said the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m.

She said a patrol officer was flagged down, according to the department.

Investigators are working to determine the circumstances, Jackson police said, and the investigation remains active.
