The Mississippi Republican Party will hold a press conference at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, in front of the Hinds County Courthouse in Jackson to discuss the recent 2026 election and efforts to ensure election integrity, the party said.
WXXV reported that Mike Hurst, chairman of the Mississippi Republican Party, is expected to address the results of the recent election and discuss the party’s concerns and priorities as election officials continue the vote certification process.
WXXV also said it will provide updates from the event as information becomes available.
