Mississippi State opened the 2026 season with a 62-13 victory over UL-Monroe at Davis Wade Stadium, Brian Hadad reported from the press box.
Hadad said the Bulldogs scored 62 points while limiting UL-Monroe to 13, a margin he described as a decisive start to the year.
The win came as Jeff Lebby began his third season leading the program, a start Hadad characterized as strong and momentum-building for Mississippi State.
