Ole Miss right guard Patrick Kutas named SEC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week

Ole Miss right guard Patrick Kutas was named SEC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week after helping the Rebels to a 31-3 win over Missouri, SuperTalk Mississippi reported Monday, Oct. 19, 2026.

SuperTalk Mississippi said Kutas was starting at right guard for the sixth time this season and the 21st time in his Ole Miss career. The outlet reported Kutas helped the front five earn the highest grade among all FBS units from Pro Football Focus and aided a season-best 257 rushing yards against the Tigers. Kewan Lacy led the ground game with 122 yards on 16 carries (7.6 yards per rush), and Makhi Frazier had 101 yards on 15 carries.

The report added that Kutas helped keep quarterback Trinidad Chambliss from being sacked against Missouri. On the season, SuperTalk Mississippi noted, the offensive line has allowed 0.83 sacks per game — ranking No. 1 in the SEC and No. 10 nationally.

Ole Miss, ranked No. 7 in the Associated Press Top 25 in the report, will continue its season at No. 19 Texas on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CT. The game will air on ABC and participating SuperTalk Mississippi stations, the report said.
