Texas man killed in single-vehicle crash on I-59 in Pearl River County

A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 59 in Pearl River County late Friday night resulted in the death of a Texas man, WXXV reported, citing the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

Troopers responded to the crash at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 9, 2026, along northbound Interstate 59 in Pearl River County, the patrol told WXXV.

Investigators said a 2026 Ford F-150 was traveling north when it left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver, Robert Corley, 51, of Prosper, Texas, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not released additional details regarding what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway. The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol, WXXV reported.
