Police Respond to Burglary Incident; Two Arrested and Charged
BOONEVILLE, MS – According to the Booneville Mississippi Police Department, two individuals have been arrested in connection with a recent burglary incident, following a detailed investigation.
On April 21, 2024, officers from the Patrol Division were dispatched to a business located on North Second Street in response to a reported disturbance. Upon arrival, it was determined that the disturbance originated from a burglary that had previously occurred at a residence on College Street. The property owner had arrived at the scene to find unknown individuals in the process of burglarizing their home. The suspects fled the scene, but the property owner provided crucial information that aided in their identification.
Subsequently, tips submitted by uninvolved parties further assisted law enforcement in identifying the suspects. Tina Nethery McDaniel, 43, of Columbus, MS, and Patrick Allen Stacks, 42, of Booneville, MS, were identified as suspects in the burglary.
Ms. McDaniel was arrested on April 21, 2024, and has been charged with one felony count of Burglary of a Dwelling. Her bond has been set at $5,000.00. Mr. Stacks was arrested on May 13, 2024, and has also been charged with one felony count of Burglary of a Dwelling. His bond has been set at $40,000.00.
It is important to note that all individuals arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The case will be presented to the Prentiss County grand jury for further proceedings.
