The Mississippi Department of Transportation reported on its Facebook page that a power line blocking I-55 South at Savanna Street (Exit 90A) in Hinds County was cleared at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 22, 2026.
MDOT’s post included earlier updates saying a debris/power line initially blocked the left two southbound lanes and that at 12:30 p.m. the right two southbound lanes were blocked.
MDOT also referenced its traffic map for the incident location.
