The Walmart store in Senatobia, Mississippi, was closed Saturday after a shooting involving law enforcement left a 1-year-old boy dead. The store closed at the beginning of the day and remained closed through the evening, according to Walmart.
A Walmart spokesperson said updates on store reopening and operations will be shared via the store’s Facebook page. The closure marks the second time this week the store has shut down following a violent incident.
Authorities have not released additional details about the shooting or the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
