CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) — The Bruce High School community is mourning the loss of one of its students, Matthew Ware, who tragically passed away in a workplace accident.

The Calhoun County School District issued a statement on Friday, confirming the devastating news: “A student who attended Bruce High School tragically lost his life in an accident while at work today.”
Expressing deep sympathy, the district extended its condolences to the Ware family, stating, “Our hearts go out to his family during this incredibly difficult time, and our thoughts and prayers are with them as they cope with this devastating loss.”
