The comments reignited criticism of Angel Stadium’s aging infrastructure. Fans and players have long voiced concerns about the facility’s conditions, including a recent closure of a seating section due to pests and reports of broken amenities, such as a broken air conditioner in the weight room. Angel starter Walbert Ureña did not mention any stadium issues, leading some to question whether Misiorowski was seeking an excuse for his rough outing.
Milwaukee had won the previous two games in Anaheim, but the loss Sunday marked a setback. Meanwhile, the Angels, who are rebuilding, have signaled they are sellers ahead of the MLB trade deadline. The team also recently removed starting pitcher José Soriano from the rotation, citing trade considerations, as part of their broader roster shake-up.
