Fetterman says he will caucus with Democrats after GOP convention appearance

Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., said Wednesday night he plans to caucus with the Democratic Party, despite making a video appearance at the Republican National Committee’s midterm convention.

Fetterman stated that his remarks introduced Dave McCormick as a great American and friend. He emphasized that, although they are from different parties, they are both part of Team Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania senator did not indicate any change in his party affiliation or caucus alignment following the event, which drew attention because of his participation in a GOP gathering, a move that some viewed as unusual for a Democrat.
