An Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer pleaded not guilty Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, to federal charges after allegations he lied to authorities about a January shooting during Minneapolis enforcement operations, The Hill reported.
The Hill identified the defendant as Christian Castro, 52, and reported that a federal grand jury indicted him in early September 2026 on six counts related to the matter.
The charges stem from allegations about what led up to the January shooting of a Venezuelan man during the Minneapolis operation, according to The Hill.
