Jennifer Lopez, 56, told an audience at a Dolce & Gabbana show in Taormina, Sicily, that small domestic gestures — not luxury items — are what she finds most attractive in a man, according to People magazine.
“It’s not the watch. It’s not the car. It’s not the private jet,” Lopez said at the event, according to People. “It’s seeing them make the bed in the morning or wash the dishes for you when you’re tired at night. That’s what’s sexy.” People reported that the crowd laughed and applauded.
Lopez performed several songs at the show, including “Love Don’t Cost a Thing,” “Waiting For Tonight” and “Let’s Get Loud,” and wore a sparkling bodysuit, People reported. The outlet also described a playful exchange between Lopez and a backup dancer in which she joked about being “expensive” and said, “I have my own money. Ladies, am I right? We don’t need anybody to buy us anything.”
Lopez later discussed her 2024 divorce from Ben Affleck during an interview on SiriusXM’s “Howard Stern Show,” saying the split led her to seek therapy and coaching. “When I got divorced this last time, it was the best thing that ever happened to me,” she told Stern. “I’m gonna f—in’ figure this s— out if it kills me,” she added, according to the interview.
She told Stern the work helped her become “self-assured” and “self-aware,” allowing her to reflect on her upbringing and relationships. Lopez has been married four times, including to Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014 and to Ben Affleck from 2022 to 2024.
