Kremlin says talks with U.S. envoys ‘highly useful’

A Kremlin aide said talks between President Vladimir Putin and two U.S. envoys were “highly useful” as the Americans sought to restart stalled peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, Yuri Ushakov said.

Ushakov, a foreign-policy adviser to Putin, said the envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, “outlined a number of ideas regarding possible avenues” to revive the talks.
